This student-led research explored the reducing sugar content of Hass avocados, yellow soybeans, and Ceylon cinnamon using Benedict’s Test. The findings identified low levels of reducing sugars across all three foods and explored their potential role in dietary management of Type II diabetes.

Our founder, Ferri Riar, serves as lead community organizer for TEDxUpper Belmont Pl Youth, an independently organized TEDx event. Several members of our team also volunteer their personal time with the event, contributing speaker coaching and event logistics.
We are proud of our team’s commitment to giving back and supporting opportunities that amplify youth voices and ideas in our community. This work is shared as part of our team’s individual community service and is separate from Orblynx Academy’s programs and activities.
